HOUSE RULE


 

Dear Guest! 

 

Welcome to Pécs and thank you for choosing Nap Hostel as your accommodation! With our house rules, we want to ensure that you and our other guests have a pleasant and undisturbed rest in the area of the Hostel. To this end, please read and observe the following points carefully. 

By signing the notification form, you accept and comply with the points and provisions of the House Rules.

ARRIVAL

Upon arrival, the rooms can be taken from 13:00 to 20:00, and on departure they must be vacated by 10:00. Arrivals and departures other than the specified times are also possible, but the staff of the Hostel must be informed about this on the telephone number +36 30 252 2972. 

 If our colleagues finish the cleaning sooner, it is also possible to occupy the room earlier free of charge based on the decision of the staff, but this is not guaranteed without a forecast. It is also possible to store luggage on the day of departure. 

Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the Hostel area. If a visitor comes to the Hostel resident, the Guest living in the Hostel assumes responsibility for it. The visitor can only stay in the common areas, not in the room! It is forbidden to organize a party or a loud program in the common area or within the hostel area, which may disturb the peace of the other residents!

 

LOGIN

In order to reserve the room, it is necessary to accurately identify the Guest using a suitable official photo ID, and to fill out the "Registration Form", which is signed by the guest. The Hostel does not disclose guest data to third parties in any form, with the exception of statutory exceptions, and handles guest data privately. After check-in, the Guest pays the price of the booked nights in advance (we accept both cash and card). The hostel has a 24-hour concierge service: +36302522972

 The Guest is entitled to use the services offered by the Hostel after paying the accommodation fee. The receptionist will inform the Guest about the services upon arrival. You can use the chargeable services with the help of the receptionist. Please inquire about these at the reception.

The receptionist gives each guest a set of keys containing a code for the front door, a magnetic door opener, and the code to open the courtyard door with a number lock. In case of loss, damage, or incompleteness of the key, the Hostel will charge a fee of €20 per set of keys. Entry and exit from the building is ensured without restriction via the access control system. There is no gate closure. The receptionist will then introduce the Guest to the room/bed reserved for him/her. The Guest is only entitled to use the room/bed provided by the Hostel staff. If he also uses a room/bed other than the one reserved for him, he must pay the cost of €5 per bed.

UNDER DETENTION

The Hostel will reimburse the person who caused damage caused by negligence or on purpose. In the event that damage has occurred, the Guest undertakes to settle the damage in cash before leaving the accommodation. If you cannot pay for the damage on the spot, you accept the Hostel's claim and assume all additional costs incurred in connection with the payment of compensation for the damage. We are making a report on this. 

We take no responsibility for valuables left/abandoned in the room or on the grounds of the Hostel! If you want to put your valuables in the safe, ask the reception for help! The daily cost of the safe is €5. In any case, found objects must be handed in at the reception, where they will be registered. We store found items for one month. The found items will be destroyed after the storage period has expired, or we will mail them to the address provided at check-in at the guest's request and expense. 

During the rest period between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., please refrain from any loud and disturbing activities that may disturb the rest of others! If the activity that disturbs the rest of others is not stopped even at the request of the receptionist, the Hostel is entitled to exclude the Guest who disturbs others. Due to the violation of the policy, the guest will not be reimbursed the accommodation fee, regardless of the shortened period or the number of days spent. The person who:  can be excluded from the accommodation

  • commits a crime or intentional vandalism 

  • endangers your own or others' physical integrity 

  • Between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., guests who want to relax are disturbed. 

  • does not respect the residents, intentionally disturbs their peace in any way, or does not observe the rules of basic human coexistence and cultured behavior

COMMON SPACES

It is forbidden to organize a party or a loud music program in the common area and within the hostel area, which may disturb the peace of the other residents!

We ask our guests to take into account and observe the basic hygiene rules when using the kitchen to protect their health and that of other guests. If a Guest repeatedly seriously violates the hygiene rules in such a way as to endanger the health of other Guests, they may be excluded from the accommodation. Anyone can use the refrigerator, but please always take your own food with you when leaving, if you fail to do so, the food will be destroyed. The use of household appliances in the rooms is strictly prohibited (e.g.: microwave oven, pressure cooker, coffee maker, etc.)!

The balcony can only be used by guests staying in room 3 at their own risk. Leaning over the stone railing and smoking on the balcony is prohibited! 

Please unplug all electrical devices used throughout the Hostel after use. When using the water blocks, please observe the basic hygiene regulations and rules. If necessary, a telephone can be requested for guests (must be requested at the reception).

We ask our guests to close the taps after themselves, turn off the lights after use and take into account the basic environmental protection and energy saving aspects, thereby protecting their immediate environment. We also ask that you report any errors to the staff. In case of large amounts of dirt, ask for help at the reception. In Dormitory rooms, the staff is entitled to clean the free beds and their surroundings. Please make this possible, do not hinder the work of the cleaners. 

Pets cannot be brought into the Hostel area!

The entire area of the Hostel is non-smoking! The Hostel building has a fire alarm system, which is activated in case of smoking. The Hostel is entitled to charge the cost of the alarm to the Guests who trigger the false alarm by smoking in the entire area of the Hostel. Smoking is only possible in the designated smoking area in the courtyard or 5 meters from the entrance. 

Furnishings and textiles (e.g.: blankets, Turkish rugs, etc.) are not allowed to be taken out of the hotel! 

 

Any extraordinary event - personal injury, fire, chemical-related accident, dangerous device or object - must be reported immediately to the Hostel manager on the telephone number +36302522972 or to the staff of the Day Bar under the Hostel (opening hours: 15:00-02:00), who is obliged to act immediately based on the relevant regulations. A fire extinguisher that can be used in case of fire is located in the kitchen corridor. Escape route: move towards the stairwell, then back to the inner courtyard.

By using the accommodation, the contents of the policy are considered to be known and accepted. Before using the accommodation, it goes without saying that the guest has read, understood and accepted the policy. In matters not regulated by the policy, the Civil Code. relevant legislation shall govern. Your opinion is important to us, but we only consider all complaints if they are reported during your stay. We do not accept subsequent complaints. Please contact the manager of the accommodation or the staff of the accommodation with your suggestions and requests!

By signing the "Check In Form", you accept and comply with the terms and conditions of the Policy.

ON ARRIVAL

Rooms are available from 13:00 until 20:00 on arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 on departure. It may be possible to arrive or leave the room outside these times, but please inform the Hostel staff on +36 30 252 2972 in advance. 

If the cleaning is completed early by our staff, it is possible to book the room earlier free of charge at the discretion of the staff, but this cannot be guaranteed without prior notice. It is also possible to store luggage on the day of departure.

Only registered guests can stay in the Hostel. If a visitor arrives in the Hostel, then the guest of the Hostel takes the responsibility. The visitor can only stay in the communal areas, not in the room! It is forbidden to organize parties or loud activities in the common areas and within the hostel premises, which may disturb the peace and quiet of the other residents!

CHECK-IN

In order to occupy the room, all Guests must provide the necessary documents for identification (photographic official ID card or passport) and fill out the "Check In Form"  and sign it. The Hostel will not disclose the data of the guests to a third party in any form, except for legal exceptions, and will keep the data of the guests private. After check-in, the Guest pays in advance for the booked nights (cash and card accepted). 24-hour reception service is available at the hostel: +36302522972.

After paying the accommodation fee, the Guest is entitled to use the services offered by the Hostel. Additional services are available for a fee, please inquire about these at the reception.

The receptionist provides each guest with a set of keys containing a magnetic key to the front door, a magnetic door opener for the gates, and the opening code for the number pad next to the courtyard door. In case of loss, damage or missing one of the keys, the Hostel charges a € 20 reimbursement per key set. Access to the building is guaranteed unrestricted with our control system. There is no gate closure. The receptionist then introduces the guest to the room / bed reserved for them. The guest is entitled to use only the room / bed provided by the Hostel's staff. If you use another room / bed not booked for you, you will be charged €5 per bed.

STAYING

The damage caused by negligence or willful misconduct will be compensated by the person who caused it. In the event of damage, the Guest agrees to settle the damage cost in cash before leaving the accommodation. If the Guest is not able to pay for the damage on the spot, they shall accept the Hostel's claim for damages and shall bear all additional costs incurred in connection with the payment of the damages. A record of this will be kept. 

We are not responsible for any valuables left in the room or on the Hostel premises! If you wish to leave your valuables in a safe, please ask the reception for assistance! The daily cost of the safe is €5. In any case, any lost property must be handed in to the reception desk where it will be registered. Lost property is stored for one month. After the storage period, the found objects will be destroyed or, at the request and expense of the guest, mailed to the address indicated at check-in. 

Between 22.00 and 08.00 during the rest period, please refrain from any loud and disturbing activities that may disturb the rest of others. If you do not stop the activity that disturbs the rest of others, even if requested by the receptionist, the Hostel has the right to exclude the Guest who disturbs others.

Due to a breach of the policy, the guest will not be refunded the price of the accommodation, regardless of the number of shortened periods or the number of days spent. You can exclude a person for:

  • commits an offense or intentional malfeasance

  • endangers his/her own or other physical integrity

  • from 22.00 to 8.00 disturbs the peace of guests who want to relax.

  • does not respect the inhabitants in any way, disturbs their calm or does not respect the rules of basic human coexistence and cultured behavior

COMMON AREAS

We ask our guests to take into account and observe basic hygiene rules when protecting the health of their own and other guests when using the kitchen. If a guest repeatedly violates the hygiene rules by compromising the health of other guests, they can be excluded from the accommodation. The refrigerator can be used by anyone, but please always bring your own food at your departure. The use of household appliances (eg microwaves, electric kettles, coffee makers, etc...) in the rooms is strictly forbidden!

The balcony can only be used by guests staying in Room 3 at their own risk. Leaning over or sitting on the stone fence and smoking on the balcony is forbidden!

Please disconnect any electrical appliance after use everywhere in the hostel. Please observe basic hygiene rules and regulations when using the water blocks.

Guests are kindly requested to turn off the taps, turn off the lights after use and respect basic environmental and energy saving principles, thus protecting the immediate environment. Please also report any faults to the staff. In the event of large amounts of dirt, please ask for assistance at reception. In Dormitory rooms, staff are authorized to clean the free beds and their surroundings. Please allow this and do not obstruct the work of the cleaners. 

Pets are not allowed in the Hostel!

The Hostel is entitled to charge the cost of the alarm to any Guest who triggers a false alarm by smoking in the entire Hostel area. Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area in the inner courtyard or within 5m from the entrance. 

It is forbidden to take furniture and textiles (eg blankets, towels, etc.) out of the hostel. 

Any incident - personal injury, fire, chemical incident, accidental damage, dangerous objects - must be immediately reported to the Hostel Manager at +36302522972 or to the staff of the Bar under the Hostel (opening hours: 15:00-02:00) , who will take immediate action in accordance with the relevant regulations. In case of fire, fire extinguishers are available in the kitchen corridor. Escape route: proceed towards the staircase and then back to the inner courtyard.

Persons with fever, COVID19, infectious diseases, diseases of the stomach, intestines or skin, convulsions, loss of consciousness, or diseases with conspicuous or extensive pathological lesions, or persons under the influence of intoxicants, drugs or intoxicating substances are not allowed to visit the Hostel. 

 

By using the accommodation, the guest is deemed to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of the house rules. In matters not covered by the house rules, the relevant Civil Code legislation shall apply. In the event of an emergency (sickness, fire, crime), the telephone number to call is 112 and the Hostel management is +36 30 252 2972
